Why Boudoir?

You might’ve heard it before- boudoir is so much more than just sexy pictures!! This type of photoshoot is about breaking down those internal walls we’ve built, allowing ourselves to be vulnerable in the most beautiful way, and ultimately taking back our power! We’ve been told most of our lives that our worth is in our physicality, and we’ve been conditioned to constantly wage war on our bodies. Boudoir is a chance to shed those layers of self doubt in an intimate experience, to embrace yourself, your body and your sexuality in a judgment free space. From the fire in your eyes to the passion in your heart- you will walk away from our time together with a renewed sense of self love and possibility!

Do I have to be nude or wear lingerie for my photoshoot?

You get to wear literally whatever you want!! Partner’s favorite jersey? T shirt and jeans? Comfy PJs? Whipped cream or a handful of sliced American cheese? Sheets are fun to pose with and if you decide you WANT to get stunning nude photos of yourself we can do that too. I’m down for it all!! I will send you a helpful guide with lots of tips on what to wear, and help you either shop online or pick out items from your closet or mine!

Do I have to share my images?

Hell to the no!! Do I want to share your images? Absolutely! I respect your privacy above all, so unless you sign a model release NO ONE sees your amazing photos but you and I! I have full model releases and partial as well, if you don’t mind sharing as long as your face isn’t visible. Or- keep those hot pictures all to yourself babe!!

Can I bring someone to my session?

This is a question that I get a lot, and the short answer is Yes. However- this experience is for you, and you alone (unless it’s a couples session) and if at any point your companion is affecting the session in a negative way, they will be asked to leave immediately before the session can continue. I cherish our time together and I want you to get the most out of this beautiful experience- anyone you bring must be supportive, positive, encouraging, and basically an amazing cheerleader/hype babe!

How long until I see my images?

The VERY SAME DAY!! After your session I will upload, sort and prepare your images for viewing! I have perfected this process over the years so my editing skills are wicked fast- no need to wait and come back another day! Your same day reveal typically begins 3-4 hours after your photoshoot ends.

How much editing do you do to my images?

As an experienced photographer, there is minimal editing required for your final images! I typically add a light filter to soften skin, a hint of contrast to emphasize highlights and shadows, and remove any distracting elements like outlet covers and clothing tags.

Do you do body contouring?

I can make minor adjustments if you are posed in a way that your arm or thigh is pressed up against furniture and unaturally shaped, or if your bra or panty is cutting into your skin. Otherwise, I do not make adjustments to the shape of your body with Photoshop. I can and have done this work for women as I started boudoir photography, but it never felt right- I truly think you are beautiful exactly as you are, and changing the shape of your body completely goes against what I stand for. I celebrate EVERY body type, because every man and woman deserves to feel confident and empowered, no matter what the scale says!

How long until my printed products arrive?

Products typically take up to 3 weeks to be handcrafted and shipped- but rush shipping is available at an extra cost if needed. We’ll cover your timeline when you schedule and any deadlines for products will be met!

How much will my boudoir experience cost?

This question is hard to answer without knowing exactly how you want to honor this experience. Boudoir is an investment in yourself, and the pricing does reflect that. Clients typically spend an average of $1500 (including the $500 session fee). I offer in house pre-payment plans and take most credit cards- you can schedule a session up to 12 months out and break up your payments so they are much smaller and more manageable.

What products do you have for purchase?

I offer gorgeous luxury albums, folio boxes, metal wall art, digitals, and more! Bonus gift items are available with pre-payment plans- ask for details about this when we speak! I have samples of everything I offer so you can check out the incredible quality first hand.
